More is More
I have had the busiest schedule for the past week and its only going to get worse from here on out.... OHHH the joys of senior year. I just got back from a senior meeting where they decided to load us down with confusing information and alllll the reasons as to how we won't end up graduating. So nice of them. Since I am the worlds best procrastinator when it comes to all things homework, I spent the entire day yesterday researching pinning a bunch of design inspirations for upcoming projects. And my sister over at Sweet Southern Drawl is featuring me on her blog today with my new etsy shop. You should go check it out!

Remember that time...
... that I said I was really going to try to blog more frequently... well I mean it this time. I just set up an etsy shop which I am beyond excited about. You should go take a look around.....
I've wanted to do something on etsy for quite some time and finally got the motivation to do it. Now if only I could get the motivation to work on all of this school work... did I mention I'm taking 18 hours in my last semester of college? And yes, I must be crazy. I am seriously panicking with all this homework and almost being done with college. Scary thought that i'll be a graduate in a few short months.

Cheers to the New Year
My goal for this year was to write more on my blog, but as you can see.... that really hasn't been working out so well. Plus it kind of interferes with my goal of the week to weed out my time on Facebook (really I wanted to weed out all of my social networks, but who am I kidding... baby steps, right?). I have deactivated my Facebook for the week and have slightly chilled my excessive Pinteresting. So we will see how this works out (and for how long). Instead of resolutions this year I decided to set a new goal each week, at the beginning of each week i'll determine what I need to work on most in my life and do it that week along with the ones before it. So by the end of the year I will have accomplished (or I hope i'll have) all of my goals.
And if you haven't figured yours out yet this website had some good ideas for a 20-something.
Good Luck on your Resolutions!

Wrap That!
Everyone who receives a gift from me knows that I am the worst wrapper ever... you may be thinking eh can she really be that bad? Well the answer to that would be OHHH YES! For example my sisters birthday was this past Tuesday and as usual I never get presents on time (another problem for me) but I couldn't find any full tubes of wrapping paper so I wrapped her box with about 5 scraps. So my goal for christmas this year (as well as making sure I have all my gifts for christmas morning) is to learn to wrap my presents the right way. So of course I have been looking through pinterest and this new website I found called craftgawker. So below are my favorite tutorials and ideas.
How to tie this beautiful bow here.
Try using your old christmas cards as gift tags.
Visit the rest of her website here for more great ideas.
Good luck with your wrapping this holiday season!

Feeling Crafty
I finally got around to doing one of the crafties on my pinterest to do list. You take a regular old bobby pin (I would suggest the ones for blonde hair since they show the color the best) and take your favorite color of nail polish and run it along the top of the bobby pin. If you don't want it to run over the sides just make sure to run one side of the brush along the side of the lid to get the excess off. Also I noticed that the thicker the polish the better it showed up, so keep that in mind when picking your color. Then just let them dry overnight and WAHLAH! you have colorful bobby pins to match your outfit :)

Food for thought...
I have really been slacking in the "making dinner" department lately. School is just dragging me down along with the worst case of allergies I think I have ever had. But yesterday I found this bean dip recipe that looked really good. Now normally I hate everything that is considered Mexican food, but refried beans are actually something I enjoy in small doses. So I introduce to you Warm Bean Dip which I found from The Country Cook via pinterest of course.
Ingredients:
2 cans (16 Oz) Refried Beans
1 can (10.5 Oz) Diced Tomatoes (see notes)
1 Tablespoon Taco Seasoning
4 cups Shredded Colby-jack Cheese (see notes)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325F degrees.
Drain excess juice from tomatoes using a strainer.
In a medium bowl, combine refried beans, drained tomatoes, taco seasoning and 2 cups of cheese.
Spray an 8×8 baking dish with nonstick spray. Pour combined ingredients into dish and spread around evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until thoroughly heated through. Add remaining cheese on top of dip and bake for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
Serve warm with your favorite tortilla chips.
I am not a tomato fan so I put just a tiny bit in there... although next time I don't think I will put any in there. I think this might also be good with some taco seasoned beef thrown in there.
I made this for me and my two roommates and the 2 cans of refried beans was wayyy to much. Next time I will definitely cut back the ingredients, with the exception of the cheese. But I definitely recommend this as a try!
